Six Silent Tears

Six Silent Tears

For it's been a long time
actually quite some years
But last night on my pillow
fell six silent tears
The first was for your love
That means so much to me
The second was for your smile
that I wish I could see
The third was for your lips
that I long to kiss
And the fourth was for your eyes
that I truly miss
The fifth was for your hugs
and your warm embrace
And the sixth just for missing you
while I'm stuck inside this place
For I love you very much
and I will throughout the years
Last night on my pillow fell
Six Silent Tears

What a beautiful poem

The most beautiful words ever written are in the Psalms and many come from a broken heart. God is the one who comforts and while reading this poem I was reminded of the scripture where it say`s that "God, collects the tears of His children in a bottle in Heaven"> (paraphrased) I try to remember Isaiah 8:17 "I will wait on the Lord... and I will hope in Him." I have cried many tears for many reasons and even though my heart felt like it was breaking in a million pieces, I knew my Lord was with me and would help me.  In the end God will wipe out tears....(Revelation)  Once we learn to have this faith in God, liberty will fill our hearts even through earthly pain.

Praise God and may He bless you.

My son wrote this poem for his wife while he was away. He prayed and put it in Gods hands and let it go. When he came home they worked things out and forgave as God said. Today they are together and have a one year old son. He got a promotion on his job and doubled his salary. They are happy because he trusted in God to heal what he could not. It is a beautiful testimony of what God can do in a persons life when they leave things in Gods hands. Bless you sweet friend and thank you for the comments, I love to hear from all of you. Donna
